Kwara APC Suspends former Saraki Aide

Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Cong ress (APC) has suspended a former Special Adviser to the Senate President, Hon. Mashood Mustapha.
Mustapha is known to be interested in contesting for the Kwara Governorship seat; while his half brother, Lukman Mustapha, is eyeing the same seat on the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Chairman of Alanamu ward of the party, Alhaji AbdulRahman Jimoh and secretary, Mallam Abdulwasiu Kehinde, in a statement jointly issued to newsmen in Ilorin, the state capital said he; Mustapha was suspended for disregarding the invitations of the party on certain allegations of anti party activities levelled against him.
The statement noted that the Saraki’s aide failed to honour all invitations to him to clear himself of the allegations and refused to communicate with the party.
Kayode Omotoshe; a former majority leader in the State House of Assembly had moved a motion that Mustapha be suspended according to sources and was seconded by AbdulWasiu Tetengi at an emergency meeting held at Isale- Aluko, Ilorin.
Mustapha could not be reached for his comment on his suspension as at the time of filing this report.
