Nigerian secondary schools are to reopen exit classes so that students in the classes can take the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) final examinations, a statement from the Federal Ministry of Education has said.
On Wednesday, another meeting of Federal officials will hold with officials of National Examination Council (NECO), NABTEB, NAIS to harmonise the dates for their own exams.

Schools at all levels have been on forced holidays for the past 16 weeks following the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Ministry said the decision followed a meeting of stakeholders, including Federal and State governments, Nigeria Unions of Teachers, as well as proprietors of private schools.
