Former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, has spoken with TVC News from police detention on his travails in the hands of state government officials, an aide of Governor Hope Uzodinma, who he claimed led thugs to shoot at his aide, in-law, and shot at his car, ostensibly in the full glare of policemen attached to the Imo Government House.
Okorocha allegedly led armed thugs to break into Royal Palm Hotel which was earlier sealed by state government officials.
Aides of Governor Hope Uzodinma identified as Chinasa Nwaneri and Eric Uwakwe arrived the place with policemen arresting the lawmaker, while subduing those with him
One of the men with Okorocha was spotted with blood flowing down his head to his clothes.
Mr. Ijeoma Igboanusi, Okorocha’s ex-chief of staff and Lasbrey Okafor-Anyanwu, a Commissioner were arrested, while there were unconfirmed reports of deaths and other injuries
