The Sanctity of God’s Word

The beginning of the fall of any person, family, church, community or nation is when the Integrity and Sanctity of God’s word is assaulted or violated.
It all began with the first family. “The Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17).
The devil, in his cunning craftiness, quickly stepped in with his time – tested and most effective weapon of faith destruction, questioning the sanctify and integrity of God’s word: The devil said to the woman, “Did God actually say…? The woman said to the serpent… God said, ‘But the serpent said to the woman…” (Gen 3:1-4)_
Questioning and substituting God word leads to a fall. Where God says DON’T or SURELY, may we NOT be lured into accepting the devil or any man’s DO or NOT SURELY.
