The furious lawmakers, whose interests, sources say, may not have been accommodated in the process had resolved that the employment did not follow due process, and should be cancelled.

They also ordered that no fund shall be spent to pay salaries of such staff purportedly employed to work at the State owned Airport, Ministry of Justice.

Consequently, the Commissioners for Justice, Works and state Chairman of the State’s Civil Service Commission have been ordered to appear before the Assembly on July 15 at 10 a.m. prompt for explanations.

In a unanimous resolution, they stated that, “Conclusively, The Anambra State House of Assembly, shall be needed to re-authorise employment for the Anambra Airport and Ministry of Justice and thereafter, due process must be complied with”.
