We have come to learn prayer to mean different things to many of us. To some, it is but just a long fork to use and take “goodies” from our Father’s feasting table. Yet to many, it is merely a weapon to use to either secure our lot or repel our enemies.
But prayer is much more than that. The real glory in prayer is the transformation it brings to our character and the revelation it brings to God’s plans for our lives.
As He (Jesus) was praying, the appearance of his face changed…Then two men were talking with Jesus about his departure which he would soon bring about (Luke 9: 29,31)
“We all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory” (2Cor. 3:18)
Prayer, at its best, is about intimacy with God that brings transformation and revelation.
