At least three lives were lost at the Trademore Estate in the Lugbe District, Abuja, following Sunday night’s flooding occasioned by a heavy downpour. Last year, a life was lost in a similar situation in the estate. The drainage system of the estate has often being fingered for the recurring decimal, but efforts by the Federal Capital authorities to demolish structures along water ways have been enmeshed in litigation.
