There is palpable anger in Plateau State following the leakage of a government memo showing that the state chief executive, Barrister Simon Along, his wife and other government functionaries plan to spend over N73 million for a summit and medical tourism in Dubai and the United States of America, in these trying and hard times.
An official reaction was still being awaited from the governor’s spokesman, Dr. Makut Simon Machan. A call to his known line was not picked, while he has not responded to an SMS and WhatsApp text messages sent to him.
