We have always known you will show up someday, somehow. Nature tells us you and life are siamese twins.
God’s word tells us there is a time to live and and a time to die. And that we all have a one chance appointment with you.
That makes you the long expected guest to all, yet you always seem to come at the least expected time?
In any case, we who belong to Jesus now know you are no longer the dreaded foe you once were, before the first Easter. You are now a defeated foe.
Whenever and however you come, you have become a mere unsolicited chaperon, escorting us to our glorious eternal home and rest.
Should we be saying THANK YOU, Mr. Death? No, THANKS!
