The pain of residents of parts of Kaduna appears to know no bounds as terrorists, again, in the early hours of Saturday again abducted 14 persons at a Iri Station, in a community near Idon town, Kajuru Local Government Area, Kaduna State.

The recurring kidnap cases in this axis, it was gathered, is impoverishing residents as they part with savings and farm produce to free abductees. Some persons kidnapped here previously are still with their abductors because their loved ones are unable to meet demands.

An official in Kajuru Local Government Council, Bala Jonathan, gave the names of the abductees as Abdullahi, Yakubu Isah, Samson Julius, Angelina Julius, Pasema Daniel and Junior.

Others are Bobo Julius, Saratu Mohammed, Asenath Sunday, Confidence Jerry, Barnaki Sunday, Moses Kenneth, Danladi Goma and Ummi Jibrin.

“These are the names of the abducted persons in Iri Station which we have discovered for now. The sad event happened in the early hours of today, June 4, 2022,” Jonathan said.

Jonathan noted that some earlier kidnapped victims were still with the bandits because their loved ones and communities had not been able to pay the ransom required of them by their abductors.
