It was a day and night of political visitations in Abuja this Thursday. Senator Abdulahi Adamu and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) visited All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, in his Abuja home; while hours later, Tinubu was in the official residence of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to see him.

Details of discussions were been awaited from spokesmen on all sides, since journalists were not allowed in, though rapprochement on all sides was suggested as reason for the visits. Adamu was known not to have backed Tinubu, preferring Senate President, Dr. Ahmad Lawan. Some members of the NWC, like the National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, are known to be Tinubu’s inside men.

Recall also that Osinbajo competed against Tinubu, but came a distant third after former Transportation Minister, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi.
