Prof. Niyi Osundare will next Wednesday deliver the lecture at the Nigerian National Order Merit, (NNOM) Awards ceremony, holding in Abuja.
Osundare was received in Abuja by two of his friends: Tunde Olusunle and Tivlumun Nyitse, both journalists and poets The renowned, multiple award-winning poet, literary critic, dramatist, scholar, essayist and public intellectual.
Osundare is a winner of the Commonwealth Poetry Prize; Noma Award and the Fonlon/Nichols Prize for poetry, among others. He was in 2013, decorated with the Nigerian National Order Merit, (NNOM), the highest recognition for creative and intellectual excellence in Nigeria.
