The Matriarch of the Mumeh clan in Igbogili-Abavo in Ika South Local Government area of Delta State Mrs. Catherine Iyoho Donatus Mumeh has passed on.
She died on Friday at Central Hospital, Asaba after a brief Illness.
She was aged 90, a statement by her son and former spokesman to former Senate President, Senator David Mark, Mr. Paul Mumeh said.
Mama was a renowned community leader and a devout christian .
Late Mrs Mumeh is survived by Deaconess Magdalene Igbenigun , Mrs Victoria Nasabata, Mrs Rita Okoro, Mr. Amechi Mumeh, Mrs Patient Kalikuma, Mrs Franca Okoacha, and Paul Mumeh.
Detailed burial arrangements, Mumeh said, will be announced by the family.
