Like before, a report by the Department of State Services (DSS) headed by President Muhammadu Buhari’s kinsman, Alhaji Lawal Daura, was used to reject the Acting EFCC boss, Ibrahim Magu, who is believed to be on a roller-coaster in his dogged fight against corruption.
Said a National Assembly source on ground during his screening: “Yes. He failed to provide satisfactory answers to questions posed. He could not explain the circumstances surrounding the death of a suspect in his custody. What actually nailed him was a report by the DSS.”
