Recently, the Vice President and the Director-General (DG) of The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) had a parley hosted by the civic innovation hub, which hosted young people who were driving non-government supported covid 19 palliative efforts.
One of such organizations, MIFA, recently activated a national network of partners, in order to generate and co-ordinate facilitatory efforts to support efforts of the government.
Speaking at the event , Dr Ebuta, described the potential and windows for intervention that the initiative was set up to deliver.
Given the unprecedented pressure on the government, opportunities for collaboration were also discussed with the DG of the NCDC.
The fallout of the interaction, it was gathered, was to mobilise for all hands to continue to work in unison as the pandemic matures.
The Chairman of the MIFA Covid 19 effort, Dr Taiwo Fasoranti, has since reassured volunteer and sponsors of a transparent prosecution of the interventions. MIFA-Covid19 team is presently one of many organizations with a national presence, and a dependable capacity to support the Government in its effort.
