His Holiness? Of course we know our God is glorious in holiness, fearful in praises. There is none holy as our Lord (Exodus 15:11).
His Faithfulness? He is indeed faithful. He keeps His promises even when and where we are faithless (2Timothy 2:13; Numbers 23:19)
His Power and might? He is indeed a God of power and might with whom nothing is impossible (1Chronicles 29:11)
As holy, loving, merciful, faithful, powerful and wise as our God is, what makes Him GOD, and sets Him apart from all others, is HIS SOVEREIGNTY. “Our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases” (Psalm 115:3)
A God you can swerve with tithes and offerings, or cajole with sonorous “worship”, or blackmail with fasting and his own words, is NOT the God of the Bible who is the KING Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, the only wise God, JEHOVAH!
