Following an attack on residents of Unguwan Wakili and Langson Mabushi Christian villages in southern Kaduna by men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen,  the Lay Faithful Trust Foundation (LFTF) has conducted relief distribution to the affected person in April at ECWA Widows Training Centre Samaru Kataf, Zangon Kataf LGA, Kaduna State.

In the exercise, twenty-seven (27) households were attended to while cash support was given to the widows as well as the injured persons.

In the attacks between 11th and 14th March 2023,  twenty-five persons, all Christians were killed accordingto LFTF.. Eight men, 12 women, and five children died after the dust settled.

Nine persons were injured in the attack which produced eight widows. “Immediate relief distribution could not be done since there were reports that the area was still considered unsafe in March,” according to the group’s leader, Pastor Bosun Emmanuel.

In the exercise, twenty-seven (27) households were attended to while cash support was given to the widows as well as the injured brethren.

The items distributed to the persecuted Christians included  rice, maize, and beans.

“We thank all the brethren who donated funds to support the persecuted Christians. God bless you and increase you on every side. We also thank Bro. David and Sister Laura for faithfully executing the project. God bless you all. As we continue in this ministry to the persecuted Christians, we pray that God shall send help to Nigeria to resolve the political issues responsible for the perennial shedding of the blood of innocent people in the country. We also pray that the Nigerian Church shall receive fresh fire of the Holy Ghost for revival of Christian unity and brotherly love so that the body of Christ can rise as one to confront these issues,” Pastor Bosun added

He reiterated the group’s website: admin@layfaithful.org; and www.layfaithful.org, as well as the account number at the United Bank for Africa (UBA) with number 102 493 7491.
