Ajaka wishes rival ‘Akpabana’ Usman best of luck in endeavours

With less than two months to the gubernatorial elections In Kogi State, the spirit of sportsmanship is bopping up in Kogi State, with the Kogi State Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka, wishing one of his rivals, the governorship candidate of the Accord Party, former Naval Chief, Admiral Jibrin Usman, the best of luck in his endeavours.

The fresh breath, away from the palpable, political tension in the state that has led Ajaka and Hon. Leke Abejide of the ADC to get court orders for special protection from security forces against the looming image of Governor Yahaya Bello, who is backing his All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Usman Ododo, is a first in the recent annals of political events in the atate.

Ajaka described his Accord Party counterpart as a pride to the State and the Nigerian Nation.

His congratulatory message by the spokesman of his campaign organisation, Mr. Faruk Adejoh-Audu, on the occasion of Admiral Usman 64th Birthday, further describes the Accord Party flagbearer as an accomplished military officer and seaman who had affected the lives of his people positively.

He said the people of Kogi State are proud of Usman’s attainments in the military, which saw him rose to the pinnacle of his career as Chief of Naval Staff before his eventual retirement in 2015.

He recalled that under Admiral Usman, the Nigerian Navy recorded lots of Achievements, particularly with the acquisition of the biggest  warship in the Nation’s history, christened NNSS AKPABANA.

He wished Admiral Usman long life and best of luck in his endeavors as he adds another year to his age.
